Method 1 · From inside the app (recommended)
Open CaptureMind
You’ll need to be signed in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Settings
Tap the Settings tab at the bottom-right.
Tap “Sign out” under Account
The destructive red action at the bottom of the Account section opens a confirmation sheet.
Choose “Delete account”
On the confirmation sheet, tap Delete account permanently instead of Sign out. Re-enter your password or authenticate with Face ID.
Confirm
The deletion request is logged. You’ll receive an email confirmation within 24 hours. Server-side records are permanently erased within 30 days.
Method 2 · By email
If you no longer have the app installed, send us a deletion request:
Subject: Account deletion request
Body: Please delete the CaptureMind account associated with this email address. I understand this is permanent.
We verify the request by replying from the address on file. Once verified, deletion completes within 30 days.
What gets deleted

Retention windows
A small set of records may persist beyond 30 days when required by law:
- Anti-abuse logs (IPs of failed sign-in attempts) — up to 90 days.
- Tax / accounting records for any paid transactions — retained as required by Vietnamese tax law (typically 10 years), but stripped of personal identifiers where possible.
- Backup copies on encrypted off-site storage — overwritten on a 30-day rolling cycle.
After deletion
Once your account is deleted:
- You can’t sign back in with the same credentials.
- You can re-register with the same email at any time, but no prior account data will be restored.
- Any third-party AI provider account (your Gemini or Claude key) is unaffected — that’s yours to manage with that provider.
